Mrs Efua Goode-Arthur with Wilton Instructors To this end the Institute in partnership with USA industry giant, Wilton International, has introduced advanced courses in sugar arts such as Wilton methods and others to augment the institutes existing ones. The new tuition will expose participants to topic such as DISCOVER CAKE DECORATING, FLOWERS AND BORDERS, FONDANT TIERED CAKES AND FONDANT AND GUM PASTE. Here are some of the old courses, cake making and decorating, pastry arts, cookery arts , balloon ribbon and floral arts The introduction of Wilton methods in Ghana is a milestone in the history of the Dansoman based culinary organization which according to the Founder and Director Mrs. Efua Goode-Arthur, is the first time Ghanaian sugar arts professionals will have the opportunity to undergo Wilton course on their own soil. Mrs Goode-Arthur said the program offers the latest tuition in the global sugar arts industry to participants to enable them compete on the international job market. The Wilton courses are specially designed for both advanced and ordinary sugar arts practitioners who want to up grade their skills in various categories. Wilton certificate will be awarded after the course. EKGS Institute which runs two separate retail outlets, Cake Matters and Floral Magic in Dansoman is also a Wilton accredited agent in Ghana and stocks a variety of Wilton products.
